Methi Options for Engagement

You might have already read my posts on my Forest themed engagement party, its Love forest themed decor and lunch menu,how to make cards, today lets talk about the sweets packages I got for my guests as party favours.
So, initially, I wanted to go for some fancy favour baskets, something very modern. But after discussing with both the families we decided to go for traditional Indian sweets.
But something we knew was that we wanted sweets that had the real flavour with less sweet content. So rather than going for a Haldiram or Bikaner, we went for Gulab Sweets.

Gulab sweets, a Delhi based multi-chain sweets brand is a little more traditional and has a different taste that people who eat Haldiram and Bikaner are not used to.
Both the families decided to go for the exact same box for all their guests, so we got in touch with Deepash from Gulab to place a bulk order.

Gulab sweets charges on per kilo basis, you can pick the sweets you want and then pick the size and design of the box. They have a few boxes ready in different sizes like half kilogram, 1kilogram and 750 gram. Each box comes with a gold insert to divide the box and a 4-5 color and design options.

We picked Kaju katli, Sev barfi, Dodha and Anjeer cake.
After sweets we picked the box. The box comes nicely wrapped with ribbon and flowers on top. I wanted to remove the branding from ribbon, that was not possible but I did manage to pick the right color of flowers.

The sweets were directly delivered to the venue by Gulab sweets by with no extra charge.

We were really happy with the professionalism and the taste of the sweets of Gulab sweets. Best part, our guests loved them too!
