Helloozzzz,
10) Tie both the ends of elastic together.
Do you like to be on trend but do not want to spend on something which might go out of trend soon.?
Do you think that the money spend on a thing is not worth but still go back to look at it again and again a d are drooling over it..??
This happens with me . I am always on one or the other online stores looking for something new. There ate so many trends that I see and want all but something I don't spend like spending for something with I think might go out of trend or whivh I think is not value for money.
I recently found the bunny headbands on a online store and wanted them so bad, but they were around $8 . Its not that $8 is big money but I don't think spending $8 on a hair-tie is worth .
My desire for bunny hair-ties made me recreate them . They turned out wuite well so I thought why not shear them with you guys. :)
Here are my bunny hair-Ties for you.
Material needed:
1) Elastic of .25 "
2) So cloth
3) Fabric glue or sewing machine( i am using fabric glue)
4) A pair of sizzors
5) A safety pin
6) Iron and Ironing board
Now that we have everything , lets make it:
1) Cut a piece of cloth in size 18" 3" . Place it right side facing up , fold it into half and glue it.
2 ) Let it dry for and hour and then turn it inside out.
3) Cut another piece of fabric of 12" 5" . Keeping the right side up, Fold it as shown.
4) Draw as shown on it and cut it out.
5) Now fold it in half and glue it in place. Make sure not to glue between the marked area.
6) Let it dry and turn it inside out . Push the edges with a pen or anything sharp to define the edges.
Now seal the opening with help of glue .
7) Once its nice and dry iron both the pieces .
8) Cut a 9"piece of elastic and put a safety pin on its one edge.
9) Now pass this elastic through the longer piece that you made with the help of safety pin.
10) Tie both the ends of elastic together.
11) Now close the opening shown in the pic with help of glue and let it dry.
12) Tie the other piece that you made in the joint as shown in pic to form bunny ears. And you have your cute looking bunny hair tie.
I am loving it . I made myself two pieces that means I saved $16 yeehhhhhhhh .. :)
Isn't it nice. This way I can recycle my old and waste clothes.
Are you a fan of these cute hair ties like me then rather then buying try making them, you will enjoy this DIY.
Hope you liked my bunny hair ties and found them useful.
Love,
Pooja Mittal
